Last week turned into a small (and I really mean small) money-spinner for me. With correct score bets on 5 matches, I had two spot on. Let’s see if I can keep up the good work this weekend, although there are few obvious home bankers in this round of fixtures.
Well, it looks like I’ve found a new candidate for the coveted “Most appalling word ever” award. Aparently it’s not a new term, but until today, I’d been mercifully spared its awfulness. And then this morning, I was innocently browsing a Wordpress support thread and there it was. Blawg.
Not entirely sure if this is an original thought - loosely, it’s some sort of game in which the aim is to summarise the plot, or key aspect of a film, book, or play. I guess there’s no sense in which you can win the game, you just have to content yourself with a self-satisfied feeling when you think of a particularly amusing or clever summary.
I can’t be the only one who suffers from incomplete thoughtness - that infuriating complaint whereby you have part of an idea, but never seem to have the time to get round to the rest of it.
