In the middle of a comical three-tabling session, I manage to flop a rather nice nut flush. Against two opponents, you don’t often find yourself 32/1 favourite against the field…

But sometimes, it seems, 97% just isn’t enough. (Note that a few hands later, on another table, my opponent flopped the nut flush, I hit a set on the turn, but my own miracle remained incomplete. Bah!)
I guess the river fold was risky. Well, ok, I should call this every time. I’m almost certainly beaten, but you never know. Better to lose 1BB here every time you are shown a full house, than to fold and cry every time you are shown two lower flushes…

Ouch
You’re a better player than me, I don’t think I could have folded that even if I was sure I was beat.

I’d reraise that preflop for value. Just because your hand can play well multiway doesnt mean that multiway is its only profitable situation. The players already in very likely have worse hands at the moment, and there’s no guarantee that others will come along even if you just call. Also, threebetting can set you up to win on the flop or turn if everyone misses and you continuation bet or semibluff raise.
I’d also raise the flop since it looks like these guys have hands that they like and are willing to have some fun with NOW. you won’t kill your action vs other flushes, but you run the risk of a set or two pair slowing waaay down if a fourth heart hits on the turn.
i call this river most of the time. The chances that you are up against a boat are less than you think, mainly because trips would have gone three bets on the turn a lot of the time.
Would you three-bet AQs every time preflop? Sometimes yes, sometimes, no, but I don’t think there’s much, if anything, in it.
I could play the whole hand more aggressively, I’ll admit that. As for the river, like I said: “I should call this every time”. Folding is a mistake, but at the same time I was extremely confident I wasn’t winning the hand.
I don’t follow your comment about trips going three bets on the turn. If anyone had trips on the turn, they now have four of a kind. That third jack means that anyone with any pocket pair is now ahead of me.
