Hand converter

Currently supported sites

  • Poker room skins - Web HH, and HH from session browser
  • Party Poker - HH from hard drive
  • Poker Stars - HH from hard drive
  • Absolute Poker - HH from the client - added 24/11/05
  • Prima Poker
  • Paradise Poker
  • Ultimate Bet
  • Cryptologic (Exact extent of crypto site support not known - suck it and see!)
  • Full Tilt Poker (haven’t checked whether this is 100% supported)

The converter can handle Limit Holdem, No Limit Holdem, and Pot Limit Holdem, and can convert ring game and tournament hands.

The converter should be able to cope with any number of players going in at any time during a hand. If you find it is not handling that correctly, please let me know.

Update: The hand converter is now set up to work with Omaha hands. This is untested across the supported sites (the “Display results” option especially will be affected). Again: suck it and see!

Latest updates

08.01.2006 A host of fixes:

  • Output shows correct currency, rather than defaulting to $
  • Fixed “$nn returned uncalled” when a bet is not called and the hand ends, or a player is all-in
  • Added support for Crypto hands where there is no cap when a round of betting begins heads-up
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes

05.01.2006

  • Fixed some issues with Paradise tourney hands
  • Fixed issues with Full tilt hands and all-ins

04.01.2006

  • Fixed problem of some sites not saying how much a player bets when they go all-in
  • Fixed handling of Party Poker Tournament hands
  • Fixed problems handling pot sizes at Prima sites
  • Added output format for forums that use those crazy big card images (BBcode is :Kh etc)

01.01.2006

  • Fix to Party Poker hands so that mucked hands are included in results

29.12.2006

  • Included output option for the Absolute Poker forum

22.12.2005

  • Added support for multiple all-ins
  • Added display options - you can now choose whether to display results or not, and choose the output option - currently available options are: ITH forum, HTML, or Wordpress blog output.

Future updates

  • Include Omaha hands - In progress
  • Allow setting of aliases for other players at the table
  • Allow user to choose colours in output
  • I’m toying with the idea of allowing users to upload a text file containing hands they want converted. The converter would then return output containing all the converted hands.

This Crypto hand did not convert correctly, maybe because there was so much betting on the river? Apparantly there is no cap there when headsup.

I’m getting an error when I try to include stack sizes and I have less than a full table. The output looks like this:

    Stack sizes:
    SB: t40118
    SB: t25451
    SB: t38451
    CO: t28451
    Button: t17810
    UTG: t10710
    SB: t11510
    SB: t94170
    Hero: t175830

I’m converting multiple hands from a Stars NLHE MTT and I’m trying to get it in 2+2 format. The only boxes I checked are show results and show stacks (tourneys).

I tried using the e-mailed HH request from Stars as well as the text from the processed pt file.

    Any ideas?

John - give it a go and see what happens. I don’t know whether PT changes all HH to some standard format at all when it stores them, but I’ve had people report that they’ve successfully converted from PT stored hands. Let me know how it goes.

Hi there. Is there any chance of getting Bodog support here? Also, do you know of a program that will allow you to create a hand history from scratch other than just editing it yourself?

    Thanks

    Jim

cardcore.net is down, but this output format is also used by intellipoker.com, so maybe you like to change it :)

This 3-way pf all in from Poker Room skin does not work. Session browser HH get wrong cards to board and web HH gets wrong pot size.
