Figured I’d better tell a few people about this blog, just so I have the vain satisfaction of knowing that someone’s been reading my honed literature.
Progress to date:
Before I could submit to some listing sites, I had to think of a proper name for the blog (until earlier this week I was writing under the title “I’m not finished yet” with a subtitle of “I’m under construction”, a title that would probably only mean anything to Tanya Donnelly fans.
I had a quick squizz through this Des Walsh article, and an interesting Elliott Back article - What do YOU call your blog?. Neither article explicitly told me what to call my blog, dammit, so I just had to come up with something that combined poker and music, and hey presto, BBGV was born.
Next, I found the name of some blog directories from about.com, and some handy tips at blogger.com, and set about submitting to a few sites.
As of today, the following listings know about me:
I still have a few to go, such as technorati. All in good time.
